The Uyghur Archive was initiated in 2023 by Uyghurs living in Europe. It exists to help readers understand the situation of the Uyghur people, publishing essays — on history, on culture, and on the documented policies of the present — written plainly and sourced carefully.

The archive is independent, carries no advertising, and asks nothing of its readers but attention.
